December 31, 2020 - New Year's Eve Dinner (Herald & Teni's Place, Hong Kong): Deep gold. Microscopic bubbles. Taut precise nose. Very fresh cut. Signature gunpowder element. Very resonant and powerful on a long finish. Absolutely gorgeous. Probably fully mature. Happy New Year! 94+

April 23, 2016 - Occasional dinner group; A vertical of 15 vintages Clos des Papes and some great extra's. (@ B in SvG): No formal notes. Key words are soft mousse, mature, slightly oxidized and beautiful style, minerals, smoke, honey and caramel. Beautiful and mild grapefruit acidity and bitterness. Clean and beautiful bubble with good complexity. 90 – 91

November 30, 2011 - ABS - Champagne: Notas mais presentes de tostado. Na boca uma mousse bem intensa, arredondada, gorda, acidez menos refrescante. Bem mineral. Boa a longa persistencia. Senti um leve amargor no final.
