May 29, 2011 - With BBQ pork, a surprising match. Slightly sweet and spicy. Moderate mouth feel.
July 26, 2010 - Seems sweeter with BBQ chicken, but still has the spicey tart finish. A change of pace.
July 3, 2010 - BBQed Pork: As it turns out, this wine is great with BBQed Pork! I did not know that. The floral nose and melon flavors and mouth-feel go great with the pork. Makes this wine taste big with a spicy finish. Do this again.
June 15, 2010 - Floral, spicy and melon flavors, clean crisp finish, nice aftertaste.
May 20, 2010 - Roasted Chicken: A very floral nose, melon flavors, and crisp, acidic finish. Very pleasant light white.
May 6, 2010 - Nice ripe pear with minerality and good acidity.
March 20, 2010 - This tasted much better on its own than with food. I thought this would have been a perfect match with our regular take out Chinese food but it didn't work as well as I expected. Honeydew, pear, almost a hint of minerality on the finish.
February 16, 2010 - Coq au vin. Color: very pale straw to clear(5). Aromas of flowers and melons are very pleasant(14). Flavors are of ripe melons with a touch of spice; not too sweet but clearly fruity and not dry(18). Great pairing for coq au vin or pork tenderloin; I usually like SB, but this is a very pleasant change of pace, and the wine clearly likes to be with food. Drink this year I think(3).
January 3, 2010 - Great example of Torrontes... lots of spicy floral notes. Rose hips, black pepper and cinnamon. Bright granny smith apples and lime zest overtones.
November 20, 2009 - Lovely Muscat-style white. Floral, aromatic nose and clean, dry palate. Very nice wine.
