December 31, 2022 - Nice purple color with only a hint of round. No tan and left. Still very big and full body. Very nice medium long finish slight oak on the news and the pallet. Drinking well now and should keep at least another five years, but will probably not likely improve.

September 6, 2022 - Allowed to breathe in glass 1 hour. Clear inky dark garnet color. Classic bouquet of dusty dried sweet blackberries and black cherries and their liqueurs; lavender; lilacs; anise; mocha; hints of turned soil, bay leaf, grilled sage. Similar on the palate, full body, balanced, seamless, polished sweet tannins, lingering finish. Fresh, light on its feet, refined, elegant.

January 23, 2022 - Winning! This is my style of wine. The oak is still there but so is the fruit. Tannins have mellowed and yes they are definitely in the minority but play a wonderful supporting role. I pray to dog that my other bottles have this much balance. The fruit is sweet, even a bit candied but nothing is over the top. Definitely not a wine to serve to the girls, looking to partay!

August 12, 2021 - Fragrant nose, deep dark color, and nice legs down the glass. Dried fruit and leather on the palate made for a wonderfully matured wine with no noticeable bricking. Cork fell apart halfway out however, and was brought out 20 minutes later by the waiter in a nice decanter. Had over foie gras and assorted appetizers and halibut with dad at Boca as a going away to Manila/ and my 53rd birthday dinner. Lovely wine at this mature stage. Thanks dad.

June 5, 2021 - Took a good while to really open up, but after several hours it was truly awesome. The bouquet was filled with dried fruit and charred wood. Deep color to the wine 20 years later! Armor still intact on this wine.
