April 5, 2012 - past
February 9, 2012 - Aged well. This was our last one and it turned out to be the best one. My guess is that if you still have some, it will be good for a while to come.
October 4, 2009 - Dark and still tannic, lots of cedar on the nose. This wine is opening up but still has lots of time. I had a bottle in 2007 and it was just to tannic then. Now beginning to open up, full bodies and big.
September 16, 2009 - lush dark raspberry and earth nose; medium body just right ripeness on the raspberry and currant fruit; slightly lean but good structure and great balance; good typicity and qpr

March 15, 2008 - Dark color and just a heavier wine. Lots of fruit but you really had to swirl that glass to bring out much of a bouquet. Felt chunky in the mouth and I suppose if you like a simply brawny cab it's probably better than I scored but for me, it just didn't come across with much finesse and therefore was not as enjoyable as I expected it to be. Maybe it should age a bit longer.
February 24, 2008 - This is in its prime right now. Nice cherry/plum and spice aromatics. Wonderfully smooth texture on the palate with very soft, supple tannins.
February 11, 2007 - did not care for this wine..very high tanins and alcohal content
November 6, 2006 - Just now coming into a window of maturity, and that's the problem with an $18 wine of this quality: drinking too early. The other one I had about 14 mo ago was just too young. Now, loads of raspberry, vanilla, and toast on the nose; some mineral. Good mid-palate of red berries some vanilla, and oak. Nice structure, not overbearing. For more points I would have liked less vanilla and better integration - probably in a 18-24 months. An excellent value, now or better later.
October 28, 2006 - ?? - never opened up? Even on day 2?
