March 8, 2017 - Very solid example of this regions Pinot! Beautiful crimson in the glass with some wet hay on the nose. Mouthfeel is somewhat delicate and medium dry. Initial flavors of green tea emerge then the fruit comes through with dried cherry/cranberry. Wrapped in good structure and soft tannins the finish does linger.

September 30, 2010 - Hot after opening. 1 hour after decanting, the acidity disappated. I'm a fan of Willakenzie, but this estate bottling is not their best.

August 5, 2010 - Nothing has changed since my previous note of 6/15. Strawberries! Screw top makes it easy to enjoy again next day!

July 19, 2010 - Look, it's true that this is a bit thin and the flavors are straightforward, but the nose is intriguing, the basic flavors are correct, and the wine is delicate - you might even say elegant. You could do worse for an everyday drinking pinot.

June 21, 2010 - Nice Pinot nose, raspberries and plum on the palate, a little thin, with a tart empty spot where the full mouthfeel of a really good Pinot ought to be. Typical of the 07's.
