  April 12, 2022 - I had high hopes for this, thinking that Duhart's usual poise and reserve would suit the vintage and keep it away from the slightly syrupy flavours some 00s suffer from.
  I probably would not have decanted but in any case, I had no choice since the cork crumbled.
  On opening, it was quite promising - notes of dark cherry and cassis on the nose, a little cigar box and leather. The first sip was fine too, pretty well what I was expecting. But coming back to it a few hours later, it was rather disappointing. The cassis is there, but there is not enough of it - the fruit is surprisingly bland for the vintage. It is not green, but it tastes as if the sweetness has somehow been ironed out.
  So plenty of poise and reserve but not enough fruit, which makes this ultimately rather disappointing. It's at about the level I would expect of a CB, so fine at 25 to 30 euros, not at 75 euros, which it currently sells for.

  2000....millésime qui sera éternellement tannique avec un fruit en retrait.
  Bref ce Duhart-Milon est plutôt timide au nez, graphite, cerise mure en arrière plan, en bouche c'est tannique, amère, aucune élégance et peu de fruit. Décevant a souhait

  March 31, 2022 - In great shape, at it's peak IMHO, really nice, not too flashy but solid earth tones, depth, softening tannins, dark fruits. Blind. Kamizono party

  February 4, 2022 - Medium body, classic cigar, leather chair aromas with some stewed cassis/aged black cherry; medium concentration, decent balance. Good wine but lacks a little structure and umph. 91-92

  I had forgotten about the history of this property and a little wary from reading previous reviews. Cork pulled with little trouble; decanted 1 hour. Very pleased by the aromas and structure; flavors and finish were better than expected. Very typical of the local and displayed well, reflecting on it's famous relationship. Holding up well.
  Pared well with grilled ribeye steak.
