January 17, 2022 - I definitively like this one. Just pleasing after such a day. It is on the peak I guess. Yes, it is not the longest, it is not very complex. But it is straight forward with only few tannins but a lot of fruit. Like a pot of grandmas marmelade. Easy to drink and definitively worth its price. Ok, not Terroir-driven or with too much personality but under brothers one of the bigger ones. Drink now!
September 17, 2021 - Tannins are basically gone. I tasted a cherries. Fairly decent considering the age.
July 19, 2021 - Needs at least an hour to open. Drinkable, but not memorable. Still has the cherry taste, but it is subdued. One note with limited structure. Soft tannins. Medium mouth feel. Medium finish. Definitely better with food.
October 20, 2017 - Drinking nicely
October 13, 2015 - Too much oak, but overall good wine.
January 2, 2015 - Decanted based on the advice of another review...that was a good decision. Even better than my previous bottle which was popper and poured. Still prominent fruit and tobacco, but now the individual fruits stand out...strawberry, blackberry are most prominent. Slightly smokey. Well integrated tannins made for easy drinking.
March 7, 2013 - Wow. Not as over the top as I expect with MD. Very smooth and not overly extracted. In a great place right now.
January 8, 2013 - Popped and poured. This continues to be a great cab, very versatile. Nice fruit and some tobacco.
September 23, 2012 - Getting better with time. Needs a serious decant.
September 9, 2012 - Very nice bottle. Full of fruit and balanced nicely.
