April 14, 2022 - It finally came out as a star. Incredible value.... but it's been long gone. My belief it was a diamond in the rough on release was correct. Previous bottles from the case were almost good but harsh. This one is finally dark fruit lush soft strong tannin backbone. 5 more years til peak ... 4 more bottles left. Going to be fun!

    July 7, 2021 - Color: inky garnet
    Nose: prunes, anise, cedar
    Taste: plum, raspberry, anise, leather
Cork broke upon removal- strained and caught a bunch of sediment. Lots of fruit left - plum, stewed prunes, raspberry with a bit of cough syrup, anise and leather. A bit drying at the end and not quite the tannins you would think. Although there is fruit left - I think it’s at its peak and time to drink up.

April 29, 2021 - Drank my previous bottle 5 years ago, and this one has developed nicely. The malbec and syrah are pretty evident, and have aged well. The merlot is too difficult for me to pull out, but the blend as a whole is enjoyable. However, if I had additional bottles (I don't), I would drink them now.

December 15, 2019 - Well cellared, solid cork, a bit of fine sediment. Very nice blend of Malbec, Syrah & Merlot. Probably at its peak. Fine tannins. Wish I had bought more than one bottle 10 years ago.
