March 24, 2024 - I wasn’t expecting anything from this — I forgot I owned it, and it wasn’t kept in the best conditions. But, while the cork was gone, the wine was surprisingly fresh. Not a great wine, but a surprisingly decent one after a third of a century. If you’ve still got a bottle, give it a try.

November 16, 2018 - A pleasant surprise after the Lange PN of the same year, which was past its due date.
The cork was 90% moist but firm. Decanted off a little, fine sediment.
Initial taste was a bit sharp, but the wine opened-up over the next two hours and remained enjoyable to the end. Shared with Kevin and Rob over bagette and hard cheeses. With air, some fruit showed through the tertiary flavours. Overall, a tribute to a fine producer and a cool cellar.

October 2, 2016 - Decanted immediately and opened in 30 minutes or so. Delicious with steak dinner. Fully mature. Drink soon.

December 24, 2012 - One bottle opened on Dec 23 and half drunk. The other opened on Dec 24 finished and first bottle finished. Both corks had leaked. Fill remained good. Wine opened in an hour and was delicious with our usual lasagne dinner on Christmas Eve with the whole family. Great PN fruit and good soft tannins were a great complement to the sweet tomato and cheese flavor of the dish. We finished both bottles. The one from the day before was more defined and delicious that the later opened one. The failing corks suggest consuming the wine soon.

June 23, 2012 - Pinot Noir Tasting. Lovely rich nose of dark fruit, more of the same on the palate, medium mouth filling intensity, slightly austere, more like a French Burgundy taste, medium finish. Time to drink up as is slightly passed its peak. My number two wine of the night.
