October 22, 2018 - Deep dark ruby. Earthy texture with smooth tannins. Very good, but I suggest drinking up.

January 30, 2017 - Last bottle of this gorgeous Roussillon (first enjoyed 5 years ago). All have been exceptional on the nose and palate, a combination of berries and silk. Magifique!

    November 23, 2016 - Last noted 9/12.

Color: still fairly opaque ruby core -> ruby rim with a hint of bricking. Bouquet of violets, roasted cherries, charcoal and a little roasted game meat. Palate of black cherries, oak, blackberries and touch of tannin that previously was pretty overwhelming. This has developed quite nicely and is finally ready to drink IMO. I remember reading the early CT reviews of this and decided to jump on the train given the relatively reasonable price. While I think those early mid-90 scores were a bit high, this is still an enjoyable, masculine Roussilon. Great acid, long finish and still showing good structure, this just could use a little more breed and complexity to fly higher.

October 31, 2016 - Always outstanding, a pleasure for all the senses. However, this wine is approaching the end of its peak period; thus, a bit less of its star power is still on display. Drink up and enjoy every drop.

September 24, 2016 - Popped and poured. Very faint taint? Concentrated, dark fruit, no tannins.
