April 16, 2023 - Last of six brought ex-Domain a decade or so ago, and by far the best, after a double decant and rested for an hour this was really singing, the aromatics were evocative, still lovely fruit but mingled with some earth and smoke, some fine textural tannins remain to give it a velvety feel. Pretty much classic burgundy, in such a great place now, should keep for a fair few years still

December 18, 2021 - Cork soaked through so not the best bottle I think. Attractive red-fruited nose but on the palate this was all structure and tannins. Despite the masculinity, it had a very elegant mouthfeel but with air it developed a liquorice note that I didn't like. An old-school Burgundy in the Faiveley mould.

October 22, 2019 - 9th of 12, opened 45 minutes, perfect cork and level, still on strong upward trajectory with tannins largely integrated with fruit intensity and persistence noteworthy and aromatically fine and complex, some silk as well, good for at least 10 years. F+ (18).

May 27, 2019 - 8th of 12, opened 30 minutes, perfect cork and level, relative to last bottle in 17 tannins better integrated, more graceful and more on black fruit than red if at the expense of power, turning more transparent and light footed, attractive minerality, bags of life. F (17.5).

January 12, 2019 - This is very enjoyable though interesting. The nose is beautiful mature Burgundy with forest floor, sous bois, mushroom, dark fruits, leather, crushed rock, dried violet, orange peel. The palate is good but has a bit of rusticity and rough edges. The tannins are still present and not suave per se. the acidity is a bit tangy but the fruit is still quite nice. This definitely needs food to smooth it out and is quite good at the table.
