January 21, 2022 - Spice and floral scent. Earthy flavors dominate the flavor profile and the aftertaste. Secondarily, anise, tar, coffee and dark fruit flavors. High alcohol. Serious structure with plentiful fine tannins and a long finish.
November 29, 2020 - very similar to my last note: medium red, ruby rim - effusive nose of red and black cherries, complex aromas of red flowers, leather and tobacco - full mouth of rich fruit, medium body, good acidity and tannins without being overbearing - a beautiful wine that is drinking very well now - it has the structure to last longer, but I would enjoy it over the next few years
November 1, 2020 - Graceful and spherical taste/mouthfeel; a gentle peak for this aptly named, feminine wine. Not in your face, not one bit. Time to drink these up. 50/5/13/18/6

September 30, 2019 - After breathing the funk disappeared and the sweet floral, ripe fruit and spice scent were highlighted. The focused body showed ripe blackberry, black current, anise and mineral flavor with plentiful fine tannins and a long finish.

January 21, 2018 - Brought to Football party along with the 2007 Astrales. I have had many of the 07/08 Astrales and have been sitting on the Christina for some time so thought it would be good to try them side by side. This was outstanding. The only critique would be the nose on the 07 Astrales was much stronger. The palate on the Christina was a little more complex, rustic, with dust and earth and a ton of dark cherry and tobacco.
July 27, 2017 - Banging! Dense, opaque coloring with ruby at the edges. Complex aromas of dark and dark red fruits, violets, earth, eucalyptus, tar, cedar, and herbs. Medium body, medium (+) acid and finish, with flavors of dark and dark red fruits, licorice, and considerable spices. Delicious.
April 29, 2016 - I really like the rusticity that most Riberas offer, and this was no exception, except that this was more refined than most. Cherry, tobacco, and leather in a nice mid weight frame.
