October 5, 2018 - The wait in the cellar was worth it! This was a surprising favorite over wine weekend with family. The warmth of the SW Napa slopes is evident... producing good tannin structure, mid-strength acidity and appropriately dark fruit flavors that last and last. If you still have it... enjoy!

July 24, 2012 - Hard to get through the oak. When you do it tastes like an average merlot. Not impressive.

November 25, 2011 - Very light cab. Berries on the nose with some leather. Sour punch in middle. Lacks any definition or complexity. Nothing here to really recommend.

September 12, 2011 - Deep ruby color. Ripe blackberries, vanilla, licorice, and hints of fresh ground coffee and chocolate on the nose. Medium body with soft, ripe tannins and low acidity. A bit soft on the palate but loaded with fruit. Seems to have a touch of residual sugar. More of a cocktail wine than something to pair with dinner. Works as something to sip in the evening.
