December 19, 2020 - Big Syrah typical to Paul Lato. Nose showing bright fruit, a bit of cocoa on the mouth from the start but big dark fruit-bomb on the finish. Still ample tannins although this wine was probably better a couple of years ago. I bought it last year on Wine Bid and wish had opened sooner.
I love the wines coming from the Larner vineyard. Jaffurs has a superb offering as well. -

November 23, 2016 - Very solid wine in the Lato style which is big and meaty without getting too carried away. These are tasty and nice to drink though without reaching that next level of complexity found in the great wines.

February 10, 2016 - Ridiculously good. Well integrated, balanced and oh what a finish. Black currants, dark fruits, a hearty wine in and of itself. I am really impressed given it's price band.

January 18, 2016 - Wow, this wine was so well integrated and well balanced. Superb finish. Drank well out of the bottle but about an hour into the decant it really started to show itself. Lovely nose.
