February 23, 2019 - Popped, poured, consumed over next 90 minutes. Singing from the first sip and continually improved until the last. Wonderfully complex, a stunning balance of oily richness, refreshing citrus, stony, saline minerals and a lovely, lengthy, lip smacking finish.

October 7, 2018 - Very subdued/closed compared to the 2008 Tribut Lechet. Also, the fruit is much darker and there is more depth. There is a lot of material here, but the wine needs to unfold and open up. I suspect this will be much better on day 2 and 3. Chez Peytz.

August 13, 2018 - At dinner. Brief note. Pours a medium straw in the glass. Nose and palate are mineral driven with a lovely saline inflection on the ripe golden apples and lemon confit. Cloves and orange blossoms with time. This is quite deep on the midpalate really fanning out and displaying everything in spades with perfect delineation. Long finish is appetite whetting with crushed chalk and sea breeze rounding out the citrus backend. Gorgeous.

August 13, 2018 - Dinner and Then Lunch with Friends; 8/13/2018-8/14/2018 (Marino's - Hollywood CA): Small glass, brief note. Lots of apple with some lemon cured. Good mineral textures. Reasonably mature, I think this is in its peak drinking window, and best to enjoy over the next 5 years.
