August 22, 2016 - Opened another bottle...this has not gotten any better from when I first tried it. While some "fruit bombs" still have underlying power and complexity...I find this bottle just sweet and syrupy lacking anything else. Not a fan.

December 31, 2012 - Decanted for 2 hours. Bright ruby red and very aromatic. Tastes like boysenberry pie in a glass. BIG alcohol, but very well integrated. This wine very one dimensional, but nontheless quite yummy.

October 17, 2012 - May have been enhanced somewhat by the food pairing, but best bottle of Angeli Cuvèe I've had in a while. The fruit, acid and tannins were right in balance, and it just exploded with flavor in combination with the short rib.

September 13, 2011 - A Ridge-like blend of zin, petite sirah and carignan from Geyserville, and not surprisingly it shared many of the same notes that I expect from Ridge wines, but at a lower tariff. A core of dark fruits, with the full body supplied by the PS and a medium-long finish. By the second night the fruit was fading, revealing some balsamic notes. Overall, a very enjoyable wine.

May 14, 2011 - Jammy berry fruit & oak. Some spice on the otherwise hot finish.

March 4, 2011 - Jammy & fruit forward. Typical of the Marietta style. Luscious full bodied blackberry fruit followed up by warm vanilla and baking spice.
