August 4, 2009 - A "redder" rose. Distinct tannic nibble (not quite a bite) and varietal character. Interesting, a little different, and all around quite nice.

July 18, 2009 - Nose of white and black pepper, strawberry, nectarine, and a hint of cantaloupe. Nice acid energy on the palate, with the strawberry sweetness quickly resolving to a totally dry finish of melon, dried green herbs, pepper, and a twist of lime. For a $13 rosé this shows terrific balance and complexity.
