August 25, 2022 - I have been such a huge fan of this producer of late and I will say this wine didn't quite hit it for me. It's a good wine (I've noted that I liked it) but in that happiness is reality minus expectations my expectations were prob on the high side. Good and solid and enjoyable. A touch more heat than I expected from it. Perhaps there was just a dabble with the more 'California' style in this year or with this vineyard? Not sure. Still tasty and we finished the bottle easily amount four of us.

May 23, 2018 - Great bottle. Well aged and drinking very smoothly. Fruit still present with some secondary flavors showing as well

    November 12, 2015 - Nose - lovely cassis, flowers,
Mouth - agreed this is nicely in its drinking window, really mellow complex melange of red fruits with a hint of orange peel / bitterness. Soft structural tannins, good acidity and long dry finish. Had for a steal at Yan's.

September 27, 2015 - At the crossroads between youthfulness and maturity. A true pleasure if you enjoy fruit with softening tannins and acidity. A lingering finish. Nothing out of place and there should be no hurry to drink up. There is no denying that this is from California but there is restraint and it is delicious.

April 16, 2013 - Pop and pour. Menthol and eucalyptus on the nose; cherry, dark fruit, menthol, and hints of old leather and black pepper on the palate, with decent acidity and a medium to long finish. Some tannins gradually come out over time. Really excellent, and perfect for drinking right now.
