September 6, 2020 - PnP, Drank over 3 hours. Medium opaque brick red with a orange'ish edge. Mature flavors, leather, spice, complexity, tanins, good grip. Such a nice wine. Long finish.

December 14, 2017 - Maybe the best Barolo I’ve ever drank. The color out of the bottle was perfect. Mushrooms and ground scents exploded out of the glass.

December 17, 2016 - Nose: The nose shows off a good dose of oak to start off with mint, licorice, dark red cherries, black raspberries, and spice tones. The oak is fairly prominent, but it isn't too overbearing.

Taste: Medium/full bodied with medium+ acidity and high tannins. The tannins are a bit woody, but the feel has some real power with mint, licorice, dark red cherries, spice tones, black raspberries, and some roasted herbs.

Overall: I will fully admit Barolos this modern don't normally do it for me. That said, this is very good and while the oak imprint is there, the fruit can hold it. This is drinking perfectly now and for the next 5-8 years.

October 14, 2016 - Perfetto. Si sentono i 19 anni però. Da bere ora.
