  December 31, 2021 - Very nice with beef tenderloin. Delicious with dark fruits and spices. A nice mouth feel.

  August 7, 2019 - Nice balance of age and beauty. Still lots and lots of life left on this one. Drinking quite well now. Short decant (45 minutes) and drank over 4+ hours. Last glass was the best glass.

  November 11, 2012 - Actually surprised us. Did not have alot of expectations here, based on notes, but this was actually quite good. Particularly after an hour of open bottle oxidation. Night two. the half bottle really came out to play. Chewy, oaky vanilla, but not over the top. Lots of big blackberry fruit, and some cocoa dust for something interesting in the front. Mid-palate mostly oak, but the finish was nice with a little tabacco and cedar. Interesting.

  February 7, 2012 - Dark and dense. Loaded with ripe, plummy fruit. Maple syrup on the nose, soft and juicy on the palate. Very drinkable and good for what it is, but lacking a bit of verve and structure.

  September 3, 2011 - Paired nicely with a pot roast and summer veggies. No overbearing tannins good fruit but not the typical 07 fruitiness I have found in other wines from the same vintage.
