    December 10, 2012 - A blend of Riesling (40%), Gewürztraminer (35%) and Pinot Gris (25%).

Medium-deep yellow color with pale green highlights. The nose shows a lovely combination of all the varieties used: it is expressive, but not with explosive intensity, with heady, layered aromas of developed Riesling petrol notes, some sweet honeyed character, succulent tropical fruits redolent of apricot and lychee, a little floral perfume and a hint of saline minerality. After the rich nose the palate feels crisp with bracing. lemony acidity and. Riesling-driven flavors of lemony and grapefruity tang, some petrol and floral complexity, a little red apple, beeswax, hints of peach, honeydew melon and sweeter exotic fruit and a touch of steely minerality. Though the acidity keeps the wine bone-dry, there is an undercurrent of sweet richness, and even though the wine feels very brisk and lively, the mouthfeel is quite full-bodied and a bit oily. The finish is long and crisp with flavors of floral spice, tart grapefruit, some petrol nuances and hints of mouth-cleansing minerality.

A very enjoyable new world white blend - the different varieties complement each other with wonderful precision and the end result is a really lovely wine with great structure and balance. The wine has put on some richness with age, but it never feels dull or ponderous - on the contrary, for a wine close to 6 years of age, this is very vibrant and youthful an effort. It is only starting to show some aged complexity, but I can see that it is still going up - no need to hurry with bottles. Very enjoyable on its own and versatile with different kinds of dishes. At 14,99€ the wine shows tremendous value.

December 3, 2011 - Vibrant aromas of tropical fruit, banana in the fore. Dry, rather full bodied, vibrant fruit likewise the nose, and some mineraly notes. Solid acidic structure. This is a nicely balanced, youthful and powerful fruity wine that goes nicely with a variety of sea food. Good QPR as well. Very nice.

February 15, 2011 - Drank whilst abandoned on V-day. I wholeheartedly concur with the distinguished gentleman below; this wine is special. And not in the short bus way. There is a good balance of sweetness and tart citric acidity, although it leans slightly toward tropical fruit forward side. I am not as sure that this is great food wine, maybe pretty good with a nice stinky and semi-soft cow’s milk cheese. Well that's what I paired it with, so I'm going with that. Could also be good with shellfish. Think the sweetness may overwhelm a more delicate fish and I don't see this with chicken. Too light for that. Maybe a chicken enchilada? More of a drink in the hot sun and ride the snake kinda thing…

February 3, 2011 - Sharp aromas of peach, apricot, and cantaloupe. Flavors of melon and lemon-lime on the palate. Great balance of acidty and flavor. Shows a crisp tartness on the finish that is very impressive. ($10)
