October 23, 2020 - Opened to serve with a ravioli bolognese. No decant. Slow ox for about 30 minutes. Stored in a controlled cellar. Brown hues. Aromatically leans to dried prunes, old sweaters, dried herbs, and balsamic notes. Dusty tannins that are fully integrated. Showed more vigorous acidity in the first hour, but fades thereafter. On the palate this has balsamic, herb de Provence, dried bay leaf, and tobacco leaf. On the wane. One bottle remaining from a half case. Drinking by 2022.
