September 16, 2012 - Cherry, slight raspberry, tobacco, earth, and old oak flavors. Beautifully balanced. Much much better the next day. This wine tells the story of Classico, and at a great price.

December 24, 2011 - Leather and earth nose, cherry on palate. Relatively short finish with some oak notes, particularly near the end of the bottle. A decent riserva, just not at the outstanding level.

Smell: Earth, funk, violets, anise, and hints of oak.
Taste: Cherry, raspberry, and hints of wild strawberry with an underlying hint of cedar and tobacco.
Overall: light-medium bodied, med+ acid, med fruit, and a medium length finish that lingers nicely on the palate. -

August 21, 2010 - Deep rich nose of cherries and tomatoey earth. Rich on the mid palate with a somewhat spicey 20 second finish. Great with Za.
