Community Tasting Notes 1

January 5, 2014 - Dark ruby. Stewed strawberry & raspberry notes, bordering on compote. Later more noticeable plums, figs against an inky, earthy garrigue background. Full bodied, velvety mouthfeel with notes of licorice, vanilla & cinnamon on a creamy palate. Integrated yet still grainy tannins and medium acidity round out the fruit of this average yet very drinkable CDP.
