September 25, 2011 - Rustic barnyard brett in the nose with leather and tobacco. Some ripe cherry fruit up front with fig, leather and tobacco in finish. Mouth watering acidity balances the finish. Traditional blend of Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Molinara. Nice if you like this rustica style.

July 5, 2011 - Alright. Drinkable but not memorable. Karen pegged it at $11

March 16, 2011 - Nice old world earth, tobacco and barn yard style wine with black fruit and chewy tannins. A nice buy at <$13/bottle.

February 19, 2011 - From the 5 course tasting menu at Valentino, Las Vegas. This wine was paired with a trio of items including a really great gnocchi in a spicy vodka cream sauce and spaghetti with wild rabbit and porcini mushroom ragu. The wine was slightly raisiny on the nose with very soft dark fruit but still retained a good amount of "juiciness". Decent acidity and balance and paired best with the rabbit ragu.

September 11, 2010 - I really like this wine. It has a rustic old world feel to it. Smells like beef jerky, barnyard and sour cherries. Has a spicey taste with good acidity. Great QPR for a food friendly wine.

July 19, 2010 - Licorice, black cherry, and mushroom nose. Round ripe palate, with an acidic spine and little tannin. Short to medium simple finish with black cherry and hint of toast. Quite nice for the price.

April 3, 2010 - Disappointing on first day. It had a good nose, but no body. Next day, the body had developed more fully. Candidate for a few years aging.

January 3, 2010 - A herbal/menthol nose, with spice, mint, plum, cherry and earth in the mouth. Medium-bodied with a spicy finish, there is a good underlying acidity, making this an excellent food wine.
