September 10, 2021 - On the young side but approaching maturity this offers real quality. Rich, yet crispy, a wee bit smoky, notes of citrus, mineral, hints of honey. Good length. I love this one.
January 16, 2021 - Tenue impressionnante.
Éclatant de jeunesse.
Aucune trace d’oxydation.

June 23, 2020 - The drinking guide suggested this was overdue but I totally disagree. A lovely clear pale yellow, flinty nose with a hint of passionfruit, some grassiness and gravel of a good punchy I-want-some-more-of-this Chablis with enough oak to round out the palate, and a mineral acidity to clean up after a decent down the middle length. Definitely drinking well now.
February 15, 2019 - Solid mature Chablis.
December 8, 2018 - Note: I use a scale on which 85 represents a very good wine.
Outstanding. Rich (for a Chablis).
Perfectly balanced, wonderful 1er Cru.
No signs of being "over the hill," although I see no reason to tempt Fate.
August 26, 2018 - A year since our last bottle. Again, this is perfectly in tact, which makes me optimistic for the change to diam Fevre has made across the board. Plenty of zingy acidity carries lemon curd and honeysuckle flavors, with a nice stony core and some funny but totally workable notes of fresh grated carrots. A very pretty bottle of chablis, perhaps on the richer and rounder side, but that's not a criticism. Down to our last bottle, sadly - I think I'll give it some time. It's nice to be able to consider that again.
May 25, 2018 - Beautifully held together at 9.5 years even with less than optimal collaring conditions. Perfect color, classic bouquet, well balanced with a long finish.
August 5, 2017 - 100% in tact bottle, and showing very nicely. The nose is sprightly with lemons, mossy stones and delicate white flowers. Easy to drink and very enjoyable, if not terribly complex. Very typical chablis character comes to the forefront with a little air - plenty of acidity, minerality, and a touch of richness through the mid-palate. Better slightly cooler, as it started to spread a bit when it warmed up. We drank this with friends who like big oaky CA chardonnays, and it was the perfect example to use for contrast.
June 13, 2017 - Nose: B++/A- Palate: B+/B++
My #3, Group's #5 (57 pts). Tasted blind.
April 22, 2017 - Very good 1st cru Chablis. Very nice balance of acidity, fruit and minerality. Straw yellow, youthful. Had run of bad luck with Fevre from this vintage with pre-mox and just plain over-maturity, but those were GC. I will stick to Premier Cru from now with 08 vintage.
