October 2, 2019 - Wow this is drinking well. Fruit and alcohol beautifully integrity into a massive turn on hedonistic wine.

March 17, 2019 - Prime drinking now and for next 2 years. Great balance of integrated fruit (lots) and warming alcohol held together with perfectly tuned acidity giving it grip and focus. Just great glutinous drinking.

November 10, 2018 - Better than a year ago but same notes apply. A great late autumn cold evening wine, with liquor like voluptuous richness.

December 27, 2017 - Decanted 4.5 hours. Intense aromas from pouring. Throwing a dusty sediment.

With beef casseroled in port and guiness, beautiful with spicy acidity. Until finishing with cheese course, I wondered where the fruit-forward elements were; overall, this has a long way to go, and is ideal accompaniment for rich winter casseroles

Tried in both Riedel syrah and Two Hands own glasses. Riedel was better.
