November 6, 2020 - Friday Wine Group - GA (Blind Lunch): Dark ruby in the glass, very little sediment. Nose of fresh red fruit - cherries. Ever so slight bricking, but appeared fresh. Deep red fruit on the palate, but with a strong, but integrated, tannic backbone. Tasted fresh, and likely has years to go. I called a CA mountain cab.

June 21, 2020 - Great bottle...! And ready now

May 24, 2020 - Surprised how youthful this was out of the bottle. Definitely needed 30-45 minutes to open up. Very nice, notes of maturity coming through... fruit is still quite vibrant, structure is very much in tact. I don’t see this getting better than this, seems to be in its prime for sure.

May 9, 2020 - decanted one hour. superb tonight, both aromatically & on the palate; terrific equilibrium given the heat wave late that year; in plateau, a treat now & forward.

grilled bone-in prime strip w/roquefort-miso butter, grilled asparagus, 2x baked potato

    February 7, 2020 - :30 decant. Dinner at Verse
Good not great. For me it began to fade at the end , two hours in. A good dinner wine but it lacked a little in depth and concentration

(Araujo Estate Cabernet Sauvignon) Violet-garnet color. An attack of hot-stone minerality is quickly followed by aromas of eucalyptus, black cherry, black plum, and a touch of leather and old wood. The wine has an incredible presence on the palate, with juicy acidity, well-integrated tannins, and a lengthy finish. Terroir: Eisele Vineyard
