  April 10, 2010 - 2007 Rhone Reds on a Saturday (Washington, D.C.): 90% grenache, 10% mourvedre. dark purple colored with overripe plums and mocha on the nose. dense, but packed with fruit. really jammy, with pie filling flavors and a smoky, chocolatey aspect, especially on the finish. would've guessed this as a paso robles rhone blend or something. still, nice if you're looking for this fruit-packed style.

  February 11, 2010 - NSMFOW February 2010--Rhones with Eric Olson (The Grapevine, Salem, MA): Dark ruby color. Nose of blackberry, cherry, plum with a floral component as well. Similar on the palate with some spice, tar, meat. Decent tannins. Enjoyable.

  September 3, 2009 - Not that all good and not sure depending on the reviews if it was just a bad bottle but didn't pick up anything that it was corked or cooked. Was just unbalanced and very tannic with some sour notes at times. Would start off fairly nice with good fruit but within minutes in the glass would just turn ugly.
