August 26, 2011 - Popped and poured. A big and chewy central valley fruit bomb. Not overheated. Has an interesting and hard to describe carmel/dried wood flavor thing that jumps in half way thru the modest length finish. Not a bad drink for the price ($10).

August 14, 2010 - Ripe cherries on the nose. In the taste candy fruit. A mixture between easy sweetness and acidity. Also a little eucalyptus.

July 21, 2010 - Totally forgettable. So much so, I have nothing but a vague sense of a 82-point score.

May 14, 2010 - Not that great IMHO. Fruit on the nose, fruit on the palate, but nothing that jumps out at you. I'm a big fan of Zins, especially those from Lodi, but this one did not impress me at all. Will not buy again.

February 18, 2010 - Plums and spices on the nose. Full bodied. Plum jam and raisins and some spice. Decent finish.

November 11, 2009 - Nose of heavy plums and dark fruit with a whiff of pepper. On the palate it is a bit jammy but there is good transition to the mid-palate and through the finish. Nice rich mouthfeel and is in balance. At 8 dollars it is very serviceable.

September 5, 2009 - Very jammy, next to no spice and to much sugar. Disappointing.
