January 2, 2023 - Screw cap. The color is still very young with green hints in the straw color liquid. Classic nose of gooseberries combined with vegetal notes in the vein of green olives. Full bodied with an oily feel in the mouth, fine acidity, and almost a tannic feel at the end. The aftertaste is fresh and long, combining a very clear tone of gooseberries with notes of grape and that mineral, almost bitter tone. I've had this wine with ordinary cork, and they were all too old. The screw cap version, on the other hand, is almost too young. Will these wines age with this type of closure?

December 26, 2021 - Screw cap, and that explains a lot about this wine. It is still very light. Reductive on the nose, with mostly sulfites and gunflint (burnt iron, actually) on the nose. With time, there's a bit of green apple too. In the mouth the acidity sticks out . With more time (and let's not forget: temperature) in the glass, it comes across as more integrated and slightly more interesting. But it is and remains very young, hardly any development to trace here, and a bit four square. Not all that interesting, and there's no point in keeping it since the closure does not allow any development. (NOTE: I have harked back to the points as thought out by Parker rather then the current inflated scale. This wine is good, but not very good, as I think I have explained.

July 24, 2021 - Sauvignon flavours are very dominant. Great length and ample flavours. Not very subtle.

April 11, 2020 - Very clear and precise aromas of apples, lemon and stone - no oak at all. The attack is fresh and focused too, clean apple and pear, with a slightly more waxy middle section and a long, very refined finish, mostly lemon but with a hint of sea-spray right at the end. Excellent stuff - which proved to me again that a screw-cap does not prevent a wine from ageing well.

March 17, 2020 - Screw cap. Decanted 2 hours. Even a double decant needed to shed of some smokiness. Light yellow. A touch tropical, some gooseberries, lemons and vanilla. Complex. A fresh mouthfeel with a poised acidity. A bit waxy with air, a long and savoury finish with a touch of lemons and apples. A lovely wine with fine details and complexity. Haven't aged an inch under screw cap tough. Will hold 12-15 years, easily.

September 5, 2019 - Crisp, fresh aromas of apples and pears with only a hint of cat's pee, before an attack of mostly apple and pear, a more waxy, rich middle section, and a long, lemony finish. There's a great elegance to this wine and if there is oak, we couldn't taste it. It's still very youthful and should improve further, with perhaps more complexity and intermingling of the different tastes, since this bottle had already progressed in that sense compared to one we tried last year. A great example of a dry white Bordeaux made in a traditional way. The bottle has a screwcap closure which doesn't seem to have altered its ageing potential at all.

July 25, 2019 - Crisp and clean. Gooseberries, yellow apples. Tropical. Minerals. Nice crisp acid. Still alot years left. Great with aspargus risotto and oven baked cod on a hot summer evening.

June 10, 2019 - Nose starts off as a bit unclean. Improves, but there's the element of flint. In the mouth it is not balanced. The acidity is too sharp, and this is also very evident in the after taste. This is, however, criticism at a high level.

January 22, 2019 - Nydelig hvit Bordeaux. Gul frukt mot tropisk, mineralsk, herlig syre

January 15, 2019 - Skrukork. Dobbeltdekantert. Åpner med noe kattepiss, men vrir det av seg med en strafferunde i karaffelen. Stikkelsbær, grønne epler og mineraler. Syrlig munnfølelse. Noe tropisk over frukten. Lang mineralsk avslutning med sitrustoner. Ypperlig til piggvar. Holdbar stil.
