Community Tasting Notes 97

  • FLXHoneymoon Likes this wine:

April 9, 2020 - Last bottle. I have to say, if I had it to do over again I would have ordered 12 instead of 6. This is drinking well right now, I'm not sure it will get any better but I think it will hang in there for awhile. Classic aged left bank Bordeaux.

February 7, 2020 - Mostly dried fruit and earth at this point. Really nice wine but probably isn't going anywhere else interesting. Drink up.

  • Smahlatz Likes this wine: 89 points

November 18, 2019 - Vibrant, still fairly youthful colour. Evolved nose. Palate also evolved, leather, cigar box, but fruit still there, and a slight grip on the finish. Solid and if this bottle is anything to go by, still plenty in the tank. A delight at 20 years.

November 9, 2019 - Solid but not special. Fun to think what has happened in 20 years but otherwise, drink 'em if you got 'em.

  • Neecies Likes this wine:

April 22, 2019 - Fully evolved, mild plummy fruit, almost no tannins, probably won't last much longer.
