February 23, 2019 - I’ve had 4 or 5 of these over the years and this was the most expressive, least woody. A good amount of fruit but by no means too much. Tannin and acid in check and not overbearing as the former initially was. Overall a good wine but far from great. I don’t think it will get any better.

December 24, 2015 - Probably at its peak. Soft tannins, medium length and body, great nebbiolo aromas and flavours. Very enjoyable, drank with pigeon - speck - sage - polenta.

October 17, 2015 - disappointing. extremely tannic upon opening and then developed some gamey notes after an hr and then finally some cherry was coming through after 2.5hrs but it never developed beyond on that
