    March 17, 2023 - Magnum best bottle (Restaurant Holz und Feuer, Kirchheim, Germany): Glass: Sophienwald Bordeaux
    From Magnum. Deep golden color. Perfectly matured nose, some creme brulee, nuts, slightly oxidative.
    On the palate creamy, round, balanced, oxidative, joyful, fine mouseux. Champagne at its very peak, perhaps a bit past peak. Nice, but could not come close to the Krug this night. 92-93

    March 16, 2023 - Pure toast in the nose. Crème caramel and crème brûlée on the pallette. Distinctive. Spectacular.
