August 23, 2022 - Rusty red with lots of sediment. Stewed plums, black pepper, and cranberries on the nose. Maybe some dried herbs as well. On the palate, plums carry over and there are notes of cigars and clove-like spices. However, it wasn't really harmonious or delightful. Just present. To quote a salesman I met once, "Buy better stuff." Noted, sir.

November 17, 2013 - Eucalyptus, tar, blueberry skins and a rustic earthiness on the nose and palate. Medium body with slightly tart and short finish.

September 17, 2013 - Very tasty cote du rhone. Cherry, pepper, spice and lavender, nicely balanced. Drinking nicely.

February 10, 2013 - On the nose there's raisins & an oxidative note, dry hay bales, black currants & garrigue notes ~ On the palate it's weighty with well integrated tannins & flavors of soy sauce, blackberry, green pepper, black liquorice & a caramel note on the finish ~ Rustic style with nice balance & length
