July 20, 2019 - This wine 's flavors are deep, rich and complex. Its hard to fathom that a 12 year old pinot can have this depth of flavor but with Merry Edwards it comes as no surprise . The master at work

February 9, 2019 - Great showing for this. Mature, rich and complex. Deep red and purple fruit, distinct spice notes with forrest floor underneath.

September 15, 2015 - Tuesday Night Double Blind $50+ (Bin 75): Dark garnet core with large maroon rim, clarity; red fruit, vegetal, smells like something grown near the sea, obvious VA, very floral and perfumed, cranberry, strawberry, cherry; iron edge to the palate, soft entry, seems like it had new oak, bitter finish, toasty oak, a bit bizarre; I called NW Pinot with VA; can see some redeeming qualities but this probably showed best a couple years ago.

May 15, 2014 - Drank over the course of two days. This wine is in a very sweet spot right now. This is clearly my favorite of the Merry Edwards single vineyards from the 2007 vintage.

Nose of violet and raspberries...ultra long finish with smooth tannins. This wine showed even better on the second day, which shows it should have a long life ahead of it.

    Highly recommended!

April 27, 2014 - Consistent with prior. Big but put together well. High alcohol is only complaint.
