  February 20, 2011 - I love the palate but hate the nose. Very strong asparagus on the nose that is off putting. Palate is great though, complex.

  December 21, 2010 - I found this wine thin, off balance, and hot. I'm not very prone to alcohol heat, but this wine was pretty hot. Not very funky like a pinot, not a long finish, no smooth tannins (very little rough tannins), some red fruit. No one at the table enjoyed it. It wasn't horrible -- it was certainly drinkable -- but not something I would seek out or buy again.

  January 12, 2010 - woody, dirty, somewhat funky nose. chocolate and stewed raspberries on the nose later on. dark cherries on the palate. perhaps a bit acidic. very good. 89+
