August 18, 2018 - Disappointing. I think there may have been some cork taint.

August 29, 2015 - Flawed. Oxidized I believe. Two of my three bottles were flawed. The good bottle was delicious.

February 15, 2015 - Bracing acidity is the most noticeable trait of this wine. Any descriptors fruit wise fall into the citrus/lemon camp. Long finish. Edit: This wine opened up and showed much better as it warmed. Probably served too cold to start but as it warmed, more tropical fruits, caramel, and subtler acidity developed. Still 91-92.

October 21, 2014 - Lemon curd, pear, yellow apple, salted caramel, toasted oak, and minerals. Really nice acidity. This could go another 2-4 years at least. A bit more time would help it integrate the wood a little better. 92, with potential for improvement.

September 10, 2014 - My first of these last year was flawed but the bottle tonight is singing. Needs about 30 minutes to open up but when it does the wine is delicious. The color is a clear straw yellow. Very Burgundian. the nose has citrus, apple and honey notes. On the palate crisp and mineral driven with smoke and honey. One of the best central coast chards that I have drunk. Outstanding effort. I have one more bottle and will probably wait a few years to see how this develops.
