January 13, 2019 - Minnesota Valley Merlot wines tasting (Jason's house): Pop and pour. This is a soft, accessible merlot. There is a lot of red fruit, a fair amount of sweet toasted oak and chocolate.

May 23, 2018 - Wow!! This is so good right now. The finish goes forever. It is so complex and integrated. The chocolate is there for sure but so much more. I am so sorry this is my last bottle. It was in no danger of being over the hill so if you have well stored bottles be patient. Or don't!!

September 12, 2017 - Even better than the last bottle we drank, I opened the bottle 3 hours before dinner then poured through a soiree. The nose was dark fruit and chocolate. The palate was dark berry, plum, red meat, some chocolate and hint of licorice that came out in the long finish. Served with simple grilled lamb chops.

June 28, 2017 - We pnp'd. The nose was dark fruit and mocha. The palate was plum, blackberry, red meat and hints of chocolate. Finish was smooth and elongated.
