  February 6, 2016 - The bottle was in perfect condition. The wine was medium ruby in colour, turning garnet at the edges, and offered a classic, mature Médoc nose of some red and dark fruit, blackberry, vegetables, leather, tobacco, mushroom and pencil shaving. On the palate the wine showed some red and dark fruit, blackberry, tobacco, spices and graphite, with lively, medium-plus acidity, well-integrated, medium-plus tannin, a smooth mouthfeel and very good length. This mature, medium-bodied Bordeaux has aged very well and is in a good place now. It turned very slightly drying on the end, so I would drink now.
