January 22, 2017 - Very good bottle of nine year old CA Mourvèdre. From my cold cellar still has a long way to go. Nose of bark and mushrooms. In the mouth plums and chocolate. Lovely.

November 28, 2015 - Bigger and more primary than I was expecting. Showed some leather notes woven in the juicy fruit.

June 4, 2015 - This Mouvedre is just so singularly dimensional. I get little in the body but tart berries, like currants with little else to it. I dumped the rest of the bottle after two hours open. It gradually improved and softened but still not much depth of flavor.

October 26, 2014 - Corked. The plastic wrap method partially cured it, but it was a dud. Sad.

June 24, 2014 - Dark fruit sympathy nise. Tastes of dark fruit blackberry coffee and dust. Complex. Missing acid backbone as is the varietal. Nice and worth thinking about.

December 21, 2011 - barnyard nose, white pepper and cherry. went well with bacon, chicken cabbage dish. paired with Dom Tempier '05 and Denner '09 Mourvedre. held up well among different styles, more European than Cal with reserved fruit.

December 1, 2011 - This was nice to check in on. Showing well, but needs a little time. Both meaty and pretty at the same time, looking foward to seeing where this goes.
