January 14, 2024 - This was my first time tasting this unremarkable vintage for Chave. Definitely a little bit dirty (though it became less so with air) and this bottle seems to be past its prime, but otherwise delicate and silky, with a nice amount of the pretty red fruit you'd hope for in old Chave. Not a vintage I'd seek out again, but definitely still tasty!

December 11, 2022 - Cedar, tar, wet leaves. Nice wine

April 23, 2022 - 86 was not the best of years for Chave. This bottle was well past its drinking window. Purchased on release and well stored ever since. Red fruits fading, tannins and acids resolved. Some leather, earthiness. Love Chave but this should have been enjoyed earlier. My last bottle.

July 6, 2020 - Fully mature, benefited from 30 minutes of air before drinking. Really nice, resolved tannins, mellow. Love this.
