November 27, 2014 - Brought back from tasting by wife. Slow-oxed for 2 hours in bottle already.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, garnet colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of dusty earth, red cherries, and slight leather. Developed.
On the palate, dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol, smooth medium tannins, medium+ body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of dusty earth, sour red cherries, ripe cranberry, and slight leather. Medium finish.
Elegant Rosso, excellent for everyday easy drinking. Good quality. Drink now and within next 1 year. Not for futher ageing.

January 16, 2014 - Hard to find another bottle that will match this one on QPR. I thought their Brunellos were quite good, and this one doesn't disappoint. For a fifth of the price, this holds its own.

For fruit, smoke and hardened cherries round out a good nose and mid palate. The finish is medium and the quality is fine!

    I will buy again..

May 10, 2010 - Nice. Well integrated tannins. Berry aromas and flavors...blackberry over raspberry. Heavy on the fruit, but nicely balanced, quite pleasing. Typical earthy, Tuscan flavors. Went well with sausage based pasta dish. Would nicely complement grilled meats. Enjoyable.

March 21, 2010 - This was a bit more delicate than I expected. Some Montalcino characteristics, relatively light with a bit of earth and smoke. A bit high acidity and a medium-length finish. Definitely better with food.

August 30, 2009 - Italians (K & L Wine Merchants (Hollywood, CA)): Medium dull red. Raisin, poop, and anise biscotti notes seem to come together in a more attractive fashion with swirling. More modern styled than the other Rossos featured here, with sweet fruit that never goes over the top.
