November 17, 2022 - Lovely, still quite youthful nose, ripe dark fruit, touch of meat, medium/full bodied, mouthfilling, dark fruit, fine tannins, quite full but crackling with energy, really good length.

November 16, 2022 - Nine red 2006 Burgs (Noize): A darkish, brambly but well-balanced wine with a lot of oddball charm. A good weight of sweet, dark fruit, some game and forest floor, then slightly drying on the finish. One of the best reds tonight.

November 16, 2022 - 2006 Burgundy with a few additions (Noizé, London): Nose is restrained but some red fruits and subtle Christmas spices emerge. Palate starts tight and short but with time in the glass opens out and broadens. For me in this flight, this and the the Tollot Beaut SLB Lavieres are very close qualitatively for 20 mins but this wine pulls away.

October 9, 2016 - Fantastic bottle of wine. Great texture and balance. More finesse than power. Excellent fruit; secondary components. No rush to drink, but really nice right now.
