September 11, 2019 - I liked the Clinet better, but this is still drinking well tonight.

August 7, 2019 - Absolutely excellent yet again, the 95 Angelus is a barrage of dark fruit with such succulence that it's almost savory-sweet. Its best days are far ahead of it, though as evidenced here there's no shortage of pleasure to be derived from opening these today.

July 9, 2019 - Dark ruby. Rich black fruits on the nose, with tobacco, smoke and earth. Simply delicious, cherry, blackcurrant and so silky. Long finish.

July 1, 2019 - See my previous note of April 2018. Not much has changed since then. Great wine.

April 5, 2019 - Opened 2 hrs before tasting and poured into bigass Bordeaux glasses about 90 minutes later. Extremely closed and did not begin to open until an hour or two after that, by which time it was starting to fade. Absolutely should have decanted. Terrific nose, nice balance and a very good finish, but it was a shadow of what it could have been if I'd had the good sense to handle it correctly.
