  May 18, 2011 - Initially youthful notes (especially for it's age) of subtle tomato skin, floral and mineral and a bit a barnyard/earthy quality that has blown off and now it has closed up a little but also a touch of heat on the nose.
  
  The palate is lean and lively and screaming of bright cherry and cherry tomato; underlying but very subtle mushroom notes. The finish lingers with a clean acidity and the whole wine is tied together by a rustic theme while still being clean, fresh and refined.
  
  Great on it own or with antipasti.
  
  Tasted at Mercatto with PK.

  September 1, 2009 - Intense with ripe fruit flavours that recalls plums.
  The full taste given by the roundness of Canaiolo along with the dry and persistent taste of Sangiovese make this wine harmonic and one of the most pleasant of the wine-making panorama.
