April 8, 2024 - Being a much better vintage than initially thought it is pleasing that it is still so good. Typical mature CNP as so farmy and rustic and yet plenty of sweet fruit and good balance. Never fades in the glass and just so impressive despite being almost cloudy in appearance.

January 1, 2023 - Meaty, savoury, garrigue, red berries, slight metallic notes. Savoury and juicy, still has a bit of tannic grip, red hued fruit, leather, savoury spices, lovely.

February 12, 2022 - Coravin fun - Chateauneuf du pape (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Baked earth, leather, fresh red berries especially raspberry, sweet spice, slight jubey notes and a smidge of cellar stink. Juicy, fleshy, soft tannic burr raps the tongue, red fruit and garrigue, long with slight alcohol warmth on the finish. Pleasing.

October 20, 2020 - IWS reprise (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Positively burgundian nose as they say; earth, mushroom, slight leather, warm slightly baked cherry fruit, slight black tea and herbaceous notes. touches of wet stone. Sourly juicy, alcohol warmth, fruit tea, earth, leather, tannins are still present and show as grainy textured. Begs rotisserie chicken and a little chilling. Yum.

April 3, 2013 - Chateauneuf du Pape Dinner (Restaurant Atelier, Glebe Point Road, Sydney): (Served from magnum) Garnet coloured, aromas of cedar, leather, touches of sandalwood, clove. Medium plus acidity and tannin., leather the ghost of some cherry and berry notes and a hint of biscuit
