January 24, 2012 - Molto alcolico (14,5°), molto balsamico, molto concentrato, tannini molto robusti. Il naso ha nette note dominanti balsamiche, frutta a bacca rossa matura, ciliege sottospirito. Vino che tenta la strada del "super", dell' "iper", più che la via dell'eleganza, della finezza e della sobria nobiltà come si converrebbe ad un grande Barbaresco. Vino di certo ben fatto, molto tecnico, probabilmente destinato a buon successo, ma regala ben poco più di questo al degustatore. Non condivido l'impostazione di base, non è vino per me.
Vino inspiegabilmente molto elogiato da Slow Food nella prima guida Slowine del 2007 (è letteralmente segnalato come uno dei migliori Barbaresco dell'anno, mah!? A me ciò sembra confermare tutti i dubbi che da anni solleva Slow Food quando si occupa di vino)
