February 18, 2022 - Everything it should be. This wine probably had another 10 to 20 years in it, but it was lovely to drink it tonight Complex buttered toast/ hay nose, great fruit/acid balance and a long finish.

September 3, 2021 - Screwcap, 11% alc. Light gold with green highlights.

A rich nose of bath salts, lemon, and lime, with peach, pepper, and a gentle lanolin top note.

Mouth-filling flavour, and rounded, as Belford tends to be on the palate, yet the wine possesses an acidic backbone that keeps it all neatly together. Very good length.

May 30, 2021 - 95 from the first sip. Length and balance, and tremendous lemon toast lanolin white pepper. Felt like a touch of the divine and I am not even a believer that there is such a thing.

April 24, 2021 - Excellent. A superb wine, its incredible freshness no doubt assisted by a screw cap.
    Colour: lemon
    Bouquet: lemon, lemon pepper, lanolin
Palate: fresh lemon and lemon rind, uplifted long palate, with good acid balanced by an almost oily character of a full bodied palate. Not austere nor yet blowsy. Great balance. Had years left.

August 31, 2019 - Tasted on opening as having low acid with preserved fruit profile caught in middle development timewarp. Assumed better days were in it's past. But the next day the acid was there and the fruit a bit more tertiary and felt as if it had legs. So not sure what is going on. 1 bottle left to solve the enigma.
