April 20, 2017 - Know someone who doubts that the esters in wine mimic other flavors in the world?
Pour a glass of the Archery Summit 2007 red hills and dare them not to taste blueberry.
Is it compote, pie, liquor or pail full?
    Yes, it is!
    Something like 20% Gamay. Helps.

November 11, 2015 - Slight funky smell when opened. To me it tastes like a high quality Oregon PN.

October 12, 2014 - I've definitely been drinking my Oregon PN too young. This has developed into a really delightful bottle of wine that's showing rich, soft feminine flavors of of dark red cherry, anise , earth and tar. There's some sassafras notes, a long finish, good balance and good depth. All in all, this has grown into a really nice example of Oregon PN. I wish this wasn't my last bottle.

May 4, 2014 - More proof that the much maligned 2007 vintage really wasn't that bad. Some definite funk on the nose, dirt and barnyard, this faded over time to reveal a more typical Pinot nose. First time we ever detected funk on an Archery wine. Fruit still very present, red fruit flavor medium mouth feel, medium finish.

October 22, 2013 - On opening, had string notes of black rubber and anise. After decanting for several hours, the dark cherries and pepper spice shown through. I wonder if the wine is about at the end of its bottling life.

October 7, 2013 - This has grown up to be a delightful Oregon PN. Tonight this had a fairly feminine mouthfeel with soft red fruit, abit of anise, some earthy, forest floor components, white pepper and soft, ripe tannins on the finish. At this price point it was lacking in depth, but if that can be forgiven, this was quite nice. I thought I was drinking a Marsannay
